Delish Dinner rolls...
Who would have thought it could be so easy to make these things! I thought that yeast hated whole wheat flour until now. I have had such bad luck with it that I had all but given up on it. I started the recipe and didn't see until too late that the recipe called for 9-10 cups of flour! I kneaded the flour and left it there for a good while and when I came back it had spilled over! I had to throw away a huge handful of dough! :(
I divided up the rest of the dough as stated in the recipe http://www.howdoesshe.com/delicious-dinner-rolls and wrapped up two sections to be frozen. I rolled out the other two, cut and rolled them as shown below then I went to the gym for a couple of hours...

Before we went to the pool...there are spaces....
Chilling with the kiddies...no that's not me...
Now we got 2 trays filled with fat dough!
After they spend a little time in the oven and butter is rubbed over them...as you can see one is already missing! ;)
They are best served warm. Enjoy!
Pineapple up-sidedown cake
Came across this recipe on pinterest...as usual...but my Mom would usually make this for our birthdays in Jamaica, so this is an old favourite of mine. I followed the recipe from the following website:
http://sallysbakingaddiction.com/2012/04/09/pineapple-upside-down-cake/
Sally likes her stuff sweet so I would recommend only using 1/4 C of sugar because it is REALLY sweet. I did the normal energ egg replacer substitute and it was ready in about 40 mins with our unpredictable oven...Enjoy!

Mixing the sugar and the melted butter....
Adding the pineapple and cherries...
The cherries stained my fingers...I don't even want to know what is in them!
The pre-baking stage..
Check out that layer of sweetness!
End product! Sweetness!
