Oatmeal chocolate chip cookies

Hmmm! Hmmm! Good! I got some strange chocolate from my vegan swap buddy last month and One Vegan Fatty recommended that I make a cookie like this. As always she's right! This was amazing! And I used this recipe here: http://hungryredhead.com/2012/11/29/vegan-oatmeal-chocolate-chip-cookies/

Enjoy! ;)

What vegans eat part 1

When out with my friend Shadé and she took me to the Satay Bar in Brixton. I've been to Brixton a couple of times and I've never seen this place but you bet I'm going back a couple more times. We both had the roti and tofu curry for starters then a noodle dish with tofu(can't pronounce the name lol) it was AMAZING! We could have had the starter 4/5 times lol. I would definitely recommend it!
Ms. Cupcakes was close by and you bet I popped in to get something. The while place smelled sweet and the cupcakes looked heavenly to match. I don't wanna talk about the fact that they had premise ice cream sandwiches and cheese cake of all description in their fridge... People think vegan ism is the end of life! Au contraire mon ami! It's just the beginning :D

Vegan Pumpkin Cookies

Finally used the other half of the canned pumpkin! It wasn't completely one cup which is required for the recipe but it worked! These cookies are cakey, yummy n sweet! Next time I'll use half the amount of required sugar, but apart from that, recipe was great! Followed it to a 'T' from blog aptly named Vegan Yummines :D http://veganyumminess.com/vegan-pumpkin-cookies/ Enjoy!

Sundried tomato and garlic hummus and homemade sandwich bread

Haaaaamazing!!!! I got into one of my cooking sprees and I cooked my house down! I got a huge jar of sundried tomato and believe me I'm gonna use it.

I wanted to make bread, but I wasn't into the kneading. This recipe I can across seemed simple enough, all I needed to do was stir every hr and a half. http://www.veganbaking.net/breads-and-muffins/667-no-knead-whole-wheat-sandwich-bread so it wasn't as simple to stir as I thought it would be which was a stress. But by popular demand-according to Mom it smells like the bread of her childhood-I'm making some more.... I replaced the sweetener with molasses and added bran with wheatgerm! Good stuff.

Make the first hummus recipe I found and it was HAmazing!!! on the bread. The bread just about lasted two days so you know it was good! Enjoy :)

Went to the SDA hang out Roti Joupa in Clapham and I was not disappointed. The roti(wrap) was nice n soft with a beautiful chana(chickpeas) filling and the pholourie(deep fried chickpea ball) swimming in a tamarind sauce...absolutely divine!!! Roti is my middle name and i love me some sweet/sour anything is amazing for me so you know this meal took me THERE ;) I'll definitely be going back!
